Beyond Scale-by-Scale Equilibrium

چکیده
Homogeneous turbulence and in scale-by-scale equilibrium, played a leading role the research of second half twentieth century, Jack Herring was an important contributor to these developments. The activity which has followed developments over past ten fifteen years concerns turbulence, is out equilibrium either because it non-stationary or non-homogeneous both. This paper short review recent progress this relatively new direction research.
